ANOTHER STOKED LEMAX ROD USER...

 

"I just thought I would let you know that I got my first substantial fish on the red sword the other day. Went sharking with Wesfish though, and the last fish of the night was on the Red Sword, a 110cm Bully! The rod (8-17lb) was spooled with 15lb braid and stood up to the fight with excellent results. At quite a few times throughout the fight, it came under a great deal of load as the shark kept swimming under/around the boat, however I always felt pretty much in control thanks to the rod! The shark was outside the rod and lines weight class, I am guessing conservatively that it was 10-12kg."
